Tuesday to Saturday, by appointment. An hour is set aside for a first conversation and the bench does not run while you are here, which is why we cannot take walk-ins.

Four things worth knowing before you come in.
Do I need to know what I want?
No. Most first conversations start from a photograph of something the person does not quite like, which is more useful than a clear brief.
Can I bring stones or old pieces?
Yes, and please do. We will look at them under magnification with you and tell you what can and cannot be done with them.
Do you ship?
Within the EU, insured and signed for. Outside the EU we can, but duties and import VAT are yours and are often larger than people expect.
Can someone else collect the ring?
Only with written authorisation and photographic ID. It has caused awkwardness twice and the rule has not changed since.
